| Thomanerchor The Thomanerchor (St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig) is an all-boys’ choir which was founded in 1212. The choir consists of 92 members, between the ages of 9 and 18. This particular version stars Diana Damrau singing the aria of the Queen of the Night (The vengeance of hell boils in my heart). The aria is famous for its speed, demanding nature, and the vocal range which covers two octaves.
