- Meine Mutter arbeitet zu Hause. Sie kocht, sie putzt, sie kümmert sich um die Kinder, sie macht viel Arbeit! Sie ist einfach eine Superfrau! – My mother works at home. She cooks, she cleans, she looks after the children, she does a lot of work. She is simply a superwoman.

- (Germans often use English words for certain international roles. They call their English words „Denglisch“ and they say cheerfully: „Wir haben dieses Wort eingedeutscht!“ We have „germanified“ this word.) For instance, they say googeln, surfen (im Internet), chatten (im Internet), switchen (to switch) and zappen (changing channels with a remote).
Writing the date of your birthday – or a friend’s or family member’s:
- Ich habe am ersten März Geburtstag. (ersten=irregular)
- Hast du am zweiten April Geburtstag?
- Ich habe am dritten Mai Geburtstag. (dritten=irregular)
